Green companies in the USA: #EnelFocusOn in Boston

Published on Thursday, 21 June 2018

How are American companies handling the energy transition towards renewables? This is the theme of the new #EnelFocusOn, which will be held in Boston on Wednesday 27 June.

The guest of honour will be Amy Davidsen, Executive Director for North America for the Climate Group, an international organisation working on climate protection. The star speaker was previously the Founder of the Office of Environmental Affairs at JPMorganChase – the department responsible for the creation and implementation of the company’s global policies in the context of environmental and social risk management. Prior to that, Ms Davidsen was Finance Manager for Women’s World Banking, an international non-profit microcredit organisation whose objective is to provide access to credit for women with very little disposable income.

In the splendid setting of Harvard University Faculty Club, proceedings will be introduced by Ryan O’Keeffe, Director of Communications at Enel. Also taking part will be Peter Freed, Data Center Renewable Energy Manager at Facebook, and Angie Slaughter, Vice-President of Sustainability at Anheuser-Busch InBev, companies with which Enel recently signed an agreement regarding energy supply. They will be joined by a group of influencers from Latin America, Italy, Romania, Spain and the USA.

This is the tenth #EnelFocusOn, and the fourth in the United States, after being held in San Francisco and New York. The other host cities were Rome, London, Madrid, Santiago de Chile and Goiânia in Brazil.
