Industrial Engineer from Universidad Tecnológica Metropolitana in Santiago, Chile, Antonio Gutierrez has a long history with Enel. Antonio started his career in the energy industry in 1989 at Chilectra, now part of the Enel group, where he served as Head of Programming and Acquisitions. Between 2000 and 2004, as a Procurement Manager Brazil at Enersis Chile, currently Enel Chile, he was responsible for the distributors in Rio de Janeiro and Ceará. In the following year, he became responsible for Enersis' Regional Service Contracts in Santiago. In this role, he coordinated regional hiring processes (Chile, Argentina, Peru, Colombia and Brazil). In 2012, Antonio joined Enel Green Power. In the first four years as a Procurement Manager for the Andean Countries (Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Venezuela), his department participated in the growth and development of renewable energy in those countries. After this period, still focusing on energy generation, he took on the chair of ProcurementOfficer for Latin America.
