Born in Juiz de Fora, Minas Gerais State, on October 17th, 1974, Débora graduated in Law at Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro in December 1998. She post-graduated in Competition and Consumer Law in 2001 at Fundação Getúlio Vargas and concluded an MBA at Ibmec in 2007.
She began her professional development at Globocabo/Operação Rio – NET Rio S/A in January 1999 as a lawyer. In November 1999 she was hired as a lawyer specialized in Consumer Law at Telemar Rio. From February 2001 to January 2004, Débora occupied diverse positions at the Law and Operational Management Division of Telemar, where she worked as a Coordinator of the Special Civil Courts team, Coordinator of Labor Law, as well as Consulting and Contract Law for the Law Board of the Telemar Group Holding.
In February 2004, she took on the Coordination of the Law Department at Infoglobo Comunicações LTDA (O Globo and Extra Newspapers), being responsible for all the civil, labor and tax litigation of the company. In September 2004, she started working at Enel Distribuição Rio as a Procedure Leader for the Business Unit at the Law Board (responding for Consumer, Contract, Criminal and Environmental Law). On November 27th, 2006, she was elected the Law Director at Enel Distribuição.
