Carlos Ewandro Naegele Moreira holds a degree in Electrical Engineering. He joined Enel Brasil's distribution company in Rio as a trainee in 1977. After his graduation, he worked in several areas of their Technical Department. In 1996, while still in the Technical Department, he had an active participation in the distributor's privatisation process.
In 2001, during the electricity rationing period that affected Brazil, Naegele coordinated rationing-related actions both internally and externally. In that role, he was in charge of the relationships with customers, consumer associations, government institutions and the media.
In 2005, he was appointed Enel Distribuição Rio’s Director for Institutional Relations, and in 2006 he became Enel Distribuição Rio’s Human Resources Director. In 2009, Naegele became the Head of Human Resources for the Enel Brasil holding.
Under his management, the Group’s companies were listed in the main rankings for the best companies to work for in Brazil, such as the Great Place to Work list by Época Magazine, and As Melhores Empresas Para Você Trabalhar (The Best Companies For You To Work For) by Você S/A.
