Damian Popolo is the Director of External Relations and Sustainability at Enel Brasil, roles he assumed in 2024. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Arts and European Studies from Northambria University (UK), is also a Master of Political Science and Economics from the Institut d'Etudes Politiques (France) and in Business Administration from Fundação Dom Cabral (Brazil), and Doctor of Philosophy in International Relations from Durham University (UK).
With experience in business development, government affairs and public relations, he has excelled in large-scale projects in the energy and gas sectors in North and Northeast regions of Brazil. He played a significant role in diplomatic activities at the United Nations and the UK Foreign Office.
Before joining Enel Brasil, he was part of the Board of Eneva.
