Margot Cohn has a degree in Economics from the Federal University of Ceará (UFC) and an MBA in Business Management for the Electricity Sector. She has been working with Enel Group companies in Brazil for 17 years. In 1998 she joined the procurement team of Enel Distribuição Ceará. In 2003 she relocated to Rio de Janeiro to develop synergies between the supply chains of Enel’s two distribution companies in Brazil, in Rio and Ceará.
Cohn was appointed Enel Distribuição Rio’s Procurement Manager in 2005 and in 2008 she led the unification of all Enel’s supply chain operations in Brazil, also acting as Supply Chain Manager.
In 2012, Cohn relocated to Chile to work as Deputy Director for Materials Procurement in Latin America under a job rotation programme for executives, where she was responsible for procurement of all materials for the Group’s companies in the region. She returned to Brazil in July 2015 and is currently Enel Brasil’s Head of Procurement.
